Kid Scoop is an award-winning, internationally syndicated Newspaper in Education children's feature that appears weekly in more than 250 newspapers and used in over 20,000 classrooms. Kid Scoop also provides custom educational products and services to such properties as Scholastic, the New York Times, the National Baseball Hall of Fame, and Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey.

Situation: The client sought strategic clarity on the direction of its website. Specifically, Kid Scoop needed help deciding what should be done, among many options, and understanding how these plans could be implemented with limited time and resources.

Solution: Spears worked with Kid Scoop to prioritize the mission of their website and implement a revamped web presence aligned with their business goals. The top priority addressed was better utilizing the website as a sales and marketing channel targeted to newspaper decision-makers. The result of this project was a design representative of their successful print brand that clearly communicated their overall value proposition to potential clients. In order to deliver the new site, Robert selected the technical infrastructure, managed an outside design agency, and directed third-party vendors.
